The Pantry Project

The Pantry Project is a community pantry that focuses on increasing access to food for students, staff, and others at Western's Faculty of Education. In today's increasingly expensive society, many individuals are struggling to put food on the table. Hunger leads to inattentiveness and frustration inside and outside the classroom (Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services, 2014). Our goal is to provide free food for all by collecting donations from students, staff and community partners. Not only does this help provide more access to food, but it also helps to divert excess food to someone who would enjoy it.

The Community Pantry is located in room 2036A at the Faculty of Education building (University of Western Ontario).
